About BriarMade

I hold a Masters in Communication Design from
Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design
(UK) and a BA in Graphic Design from San Fran-
cisco State University. After working with various
clients and companies for 5 years (see below), I
started my own studio, BriarMade, in 2006. My
goal is to design the best visual solutions as well
as the greenest, from format through production.
During my time as a designer, I've enjoyed living
in all places with names ending in 'land'. Well,
actually just the 3--Oakland, England and now--
Portland. When I'm not creating printed matter
in one form or another, I'm walking with my dogs
in the Columbia Gorge, combing through the thrift
store treasures or listening to sounds ranging from
Gabriel-era Genesis to Miles Davis to Aphex Twin.
